SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT POSITION                      

Data Specialists, Inc. has been providing dairy software business solutions for 30 years.  This growth software implementation support position will require various  phone and on-site support activities relating to enterprise resource planning software.  Specific focus on production, inventory and distribution software installations, software configurations, screen menu navigation, customer training, and technical application services will be the among the key duties performed.  Position requires individuals who can analyze client business requirements and objectives.  This position will also require the collection and presentation of customer feedback for new product features and product issues should they arise.  Finally, this position includes an element of new release quality control testing, prior to market release.

Key Responsibilities  

·         Provide customer technical phone support that includes:

-        Production, Inventory & Distribution software troubleshooting.

-        Customer training and menu navigation questions.

-       Product enhancement documentation.

-        Application assistance with a strong accounting focus.  

·         Provide on-site technical support activities:

-        Customer functional design study’s on new systems.

-       New software installation project management.

-        Customizing databases / menu options specific to customer needs.

-        Converting customer data to new software.

-        Customer training.

Key Qualifications  

·         Experience:  Minimum 2 years in software support:
   -        Financial Accounting Experience
      –     ERP software experience is a plus.
      -        Dairy Knowledge and Great Plains accounting software experience is a plus.

·         Technology:  Experience using Windows XP / 2000, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005, Terminal Services 2000 / 2003, and reporting tools like Crystal Reports, Reporting Services, and SQL are also strongly preferred.  

·         Work Skills:  Must include:  Multi-tasking, good time management, & organization.

·         Communication Skills:  Must demonstrate professional oral & written skills.

Physical Requirements  

This position does require a lifting maximum of 20lbs, primarily associated with computer hardware.

Travel Requirements  

Less than 30-50% travel will be required for this position, primarily related to software implementation and training. 

Working Hours  

This position is full time,  extended hours and occasional weekends may be required based on new equipment / software installations / configurations.  Primary office location is Data Specialists, Inc. Headquarters located in Elkhorn, WI.  No overseas travel is required.

PLEX DEVELOPER

Data Specialists, Inc. is seeking the best, full time, experienced Plex Developer willing to relocate to SE Wisconsin they can lay their hands on. 

Successful candidates will have: 
        -  Demonstrable, in-depth history in Plex development 
        -  Strong understanding of database concepts and technologies 
        -  Experience with MS SQL Server 2005
        -  Curiosity about development technologies at large 
        -  WinC/WinNTC background

SQL DEVELOPER

      DSI is a an expanding software development firm and is hiring a professional
      for a SQL Developer. 

      Experienced in SQL server 2000/2005 technologies, T-SQL design and
      code - complex queries stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.     
      A database architect capable of defining database objects, using data 
      modeling tools to create ERD, Monitoring databasee, performance and
      optimization.  Will also work with SQL Server 2005 periphery technologies 
      such as Reporting, Notifcation, Integration and Analysis Services.  Strong 
      problem solving and communication skills required.
     

GREAT PLAINS SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION POSITION

      Dynamics GP implementation, training and support for software clients. 
     Job requires the ability to analyze business requirements and objectives 
     and determine how the Great Plains software can best meet those needs.  
     Accounting degree and experience a PLUS.  Travel 25 - 30%.
