“Knowledge is Key” DSI 2010 CUSTOMER CONFERENCE was held on Sunday, May 23 – Tuesday, May 25, 2010
The 2010 DSI Customer Conference “Knowledge Is Key” was held at Grand Geneva on May 23 – 25, 2010. Customers from across the country attended and were welcomed by beautiful Wisconsin weather.
Per customer requests, Sunday classes were offered for Understanding Dairy Liquid Costing and Actual Dairy Production Costing. A Sunday evening dinner cruise was the formal kick-off of the conference. It was a great venue to meeting other attendees and DSI staff.
Monday and Tuesday offered multiple tracks of various subjects from individual software module presentations, to industry classes, such as Yield Optimization, Plant Shrinks and Product Traceability. A hands-on lab afforded our customer the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with both DSI staff and management.
We also had the privilege of having industry experts as outside speakers. Dr. Robert Cropp from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, spoke on today’s dairy economics and the changing marketplace. It is always a pleasure to have him join us. Also speaking was Paul Reinhard with T. C. Jacoby on Understanding the Basics of Orders.
It was at the conference, we debuted our new “True Dairy Costing” software module.
We want to personally thank the companies and attendees for their investment in attending the 2010 conference.
